Frequently Asked Questions
How is team win percentage calculated?
Win percentage shows the ratio of matches won to total matches played. We rank teams by overall win rate, with separate home and away win splits available via filters, plus league-average context on the detail view.
How does recent form affect the rankings?
Use the form filter to switch from full-season win rate to the last 5, 6, 10, or 20 matches. Form-weighted views surface teams trending up or down — useful when full-season averages mask a recent change in performance.
Why do some teams show a high win rate with few matches?
Teams early in the season may have inflated percentages from a small sample. Use the matches played (MP) column to assess sample size. For reliable rankings we recommend filtering by 'Last 10' or more matches played.
How do I find the teams with the highest win percentage this season?
Sort the rankings by the W% column to surface the teams with the highest win rate in 2025/26. Use the form filter to switch between full-season win percentage and the last 5/10/20 matches for current-form rankings, and filter by league to narrow to your competition of interest. The Hits/MP column anchors sample size so you can avoid small-sample outliers.
How Team & League Stats Are Calculated
Our football statistics cover 7 major markets, each ranking teams, upcoming matches, and leagues by the most relevant statistical metric for data-driven match analysis.
All statistics exclude friendly matches and require a minimum number of matches played to ensure reliability. Cards use the formula: Yellow = 1pt, Red = 2pts. Corner and card data availability varies by league.
